Garry Feinstadt MD

I believe consolidation is a necessary step towards an effective EMR environment. I still find it puzzling that there is no requirement for comparability. Our clinic was previously promised a "seamless transition" when we switched to Intrahealth. That did not happen. At this point there is no way to electronically transfer patient data from one system to another. I believe this is one of the major impediments to further market penetration. In fact the absence of a requirement for compatibility (eg PITO) has always been conspicuous by its absence.
