One of the most popular areas on CanadianEMR — and the one that I have the most fun preparing — is the Podcasts. As we head into the fall season, I would like to invite readers to submit podcast topics.
Podcasts may be technical, clinical, or policy related. Please feel free to suggest ideas. If you have a story or topic that you personally would like to discuss, let me know.
I have an interesting podcast coming up with Dr. Hugh Fisher, a GP who for a number of years was based in Pemberton, British Columbia, but is now working in the rural locum program. He has been working in both paper-based and electronic medical record-based practices for the last four months.
Dr. Fisher will be discussing his experiences and the challenges and benefits of being a locum.
